Contest 10: Coupling Contest

Start Date - September 2, 2007
End Date - October 1, 2007

Love is in the air! Or at least it is for this contest. This contest is dedicated to One Piece couplings of all kinds! LuNa, SaNa, RoZo, ZoSa, etc!
It can be ANY coupling as long as it's One Piece. No OCs, sorry. No crossovers either.

The couplings can be:
BoyxGirl
BoyxBoy
GirlxGirl

If you somehow manage to come up with something other than that not only will we be surprised, but also somewhat disturbed.

Submissions must be completed and sent in by October 1st.

Guess what? This month is completely and utterly dedicated to the Going Merry, both the good times and the bad. We're going to commemorate the Going Merry this month and give it all the love we can. For this contest, the specifications are that it must feature the Going Merry and can not have any pornographic nature of any sort. No fluff either, for that matter.

Draw Nami!! Or at least make her the main focus. Just note that if you're gonna do a pin-up drawing, make sure its tasteful and within the club/DA rules. Shoujo-ai.... is questionable, again, tasteful. Of course, cannon pairing, friendship, whatever. As long as it involves Nami-swan XD

Ok, I figured since we got a late start on this contest and its gonna technically be two themes, you guys get like 2 months! Rules - Obviously, you have to draw Chopper. Any form you want! The others can be in it, as long as he's the main focus. I believe his birthday is in late December.... 25 or 26??? Anyway, you can also submit a Christmas pic w/ any One Piece characters! (Where's the CP9 and Baroque Works love? X3 j/k) Just note that the Chopper picture doesn't have to be holiday themed, but it can be if ya want!

NEWS FROM THE COOK'S GALLEY

Alrighty people. Didn't wanna do this, but we're getting too many entries that are WAY too big to view! No that these entries are bad or anything, jus that we can't see 'em. So, for future reference, and for ease of viewing, please please please PLEASE reference the following for posting sizes when posting contest entries...

Please nothing longer than 1000 pixels long
Please nothing more than 800 pixels wide

This is just to prevent things from getting too wonky. These measurements are standard at most forums, and are viewable on the smallest PC resolution setting (600x800) with minimal scrolling.

If you have Photoshop, a quick little tip for you. Save your final project however you wish, but then saving for Deviantart, go to File>Save for Web. In there, choose JPEG and save at it's highest values. Save. After that, locate the new saved file (it should be a JPEG) and open. Then choose Image>Image size. Then, just choose the bigger of the two values and change it to the minimum (EI if the length is bigger, change it to 1000, if the width is bigger, change it to 800) Resave, and you have a fully formatted JPEG with proper sizing that can be viewed easily on all computers and all resolution setting...
